And the first post is: a disclaimer.

As much as I’d love the first post to be a welcoming hello, it’s also important that I put up a disclaimer because this is going to be a realtor-based blog, and therefore some things need to be said.

Hello, and welcome!

This is a blog that follows the journey of a realtor based in Singapore. My name is Amanda Rain Lui, I’ve been a realtor since October 2022, and my license registration number is R067057G.

I’m currently working with ERA, and the obligatory details of that company include:

ERA Realty Network Pte Ltd
L3002382K

ERA APAC Centre
450 Lorong 6 Toa Payoh
Singapore 319394

+65 6226 2000

While I am affiliated with the company, all posts here and on short-form media platforms are my own opinions, and not the company’s. It’s also worth noting that I neither represent property developers, nor the government.

And while I am a realtor, I am not your realtor, unless we’ve sat down to discuss your goals, dreams, finances, situation, and we have signed a CEA agreement form, CEA being the Council for Estate Agencies, the arm of the government that regulates realtors and agencies.

So take any and all of my content as general advice, not tailored enough to your situation, even if you write in and I reply, and so none of this can be taken as professional advice to sell, buy, rent and/or invest.

I am only human, and just a single person at that. You need to do your research to understand what you’re getting into, before you make any decision, because the responsibility and results are completely yours to own. This includes when you do seek my opinion, whether as your realtor or as your spiritual guide (that’s on my other website, on Witchy Therapy).

I can’t stress this enough:

All opinions are mine alone, none of this can be taken as professional advice that is tailored to your situation, and you need to do your research before making any decision, because both profits and losses are yours to own.

With that said, I really am glad you’re here, and using your time and effort to learn more about property, homes, ownership, financing, and what it’s like being a realtor in Singapore. There is so much to know when it comes to being an adult who has their life together, and this is my way of figuring it out, together.
